Mikelle Brown of Mrs. Johnson’s second grade class didn’t even know she was famous, but she was happy to find out. Beta artwork returned to the Houston Public Library this month for any and all to see. Scholars shared the western pictures they imagined with their hometown.

Fourth grader Gissel Olmedo created a cactus picture that showed the contrast between the shadow and the sun.


Beta Academy is proud to share its budding, young artists with the city of Houston.
