The Houston Library brought Beta to its halls for the Holiday season. Beta art decorates the walls of the downtown central library with a special exhibit on the fourth floor. Scholars young and old submitted their colorful masterpieces featuring The Elements of Art.
This theme showcases the basic ingredients needed to make art and the building blocks every painting, sketch or sculpture uses. There are seven elements total, and it is impossible to create art without using at least one of these. They are line, shape, space, value, form, texture, and color. The Beta exhibit will be at the downtown library on McKinney St. until December 31st.
